Description:
As a Multimedia Animator, you will create an extensive series of images that form the animation seen in visual productions such as, commercials, campaigns and programs. You are expected to develop excellent visual frames with 2D/3D or other techniques. Your work will give life to storylines and characters. You have a creative eye and artistic aptitude. You can easily turn a script or a concept into an impressive computer-generated animation. To excel in this role, you must be highly skilled in CGI software and storytelling.
What you’ll do:
- Create expressive character animation portraying a wide range of emotions
- Read scripts and storylines to understand animation requirements
- Create high-quality animations by utilizing both hand key animation and motion capture data
- Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and producers
- Brainstorm and conceptualize ideas, with the ability to produce concept sketches and quick concept edits; Develop storyboards for the initial stages of production
- Comprehend and execute direction from the lead animator or animation supervisor
- Prepare presentations with raw designs to customers
- Create models, drawings and illustrations by hand or electronically
- Join images with background graphics and special effects
- Ensure synchronization of frames and audio
- Participate in editing process
- Take videos or photos whenever required, and edit them

What you’ll need:
- Knowledge of 2D/3D, stop motion and computer-generated animation
- Proven experience as animator
- Proficient in CGI software (Photoshop, 3ds Max, Maya etc.), After Effects and Premier Pro
- Skilled in videography and photography,
- A creative storyteller with presentation abilities
- Comfortable working with deadlines and budget restrictions
- Teamwork and excellent communication skills
- Degree in computer animation, 3D/graphic design, fine arts or relevant field
