Opening at WENZA: Application Engineer in UAE
We’re looking for a person with experience (+3) in metal cutting industry to work in Ras-al-Khaimah and across MENA region.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare and give technical presentations for customers on how the tools and equipment work
- Conduct clients’ analysis in terms of their technical demands and offer sales support where necessary
- Control all the technical implementation processes and optimize them
- Organize engineering department work process
- Conduct instrument trials of the tools produced by the company on customer’s production sites (metallurgy, automotive, pipe rolling industry, railway industry, etc)
- Collect information about the technical objectives from potential and existing customers and prepare technical solution with the proper tools and cutting modes
- Work with the customers to ensure the equipment meets the system requirements, help clients to solve problems with tools usage
- Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective
- Prepare technical proposals and commercial offer preparation
- Prepare and collect technical reports on trials

Minimum qualification:
- Technical education (priority: metal-cutting machines and tools, mechanical engineering technology, mechanical processing or engineering faculty at a specialized technical university/college)
- Fluent English as a second language
- 3 years reliable technical background (experience as an engineer at a manufacturing company with metal cutting sites, as engineer / sales manager at a manufacturing company or a seller of cutting tools)
- Good knowledge of the nomenclature metal-cutting tools produced by the leaders of the world market
