Ar Specialist

Description:

We are currently hiring an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to support a rapidly growing fresh produce organization based in the UAE. The client operates advanced farming facilities and manages a wide portfolio of premium, imported, and everyday fresh produce. This role reports directly to the Finance Manager and plays a key part in maintaining financial accuracy, cash flow efficiency, and strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities – Accounts Receivable:

• Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices and statements accurately and within agreed timelines
• Record and allocate customer payments correctly to respective accounts
• Monitor AR aging reports, follow up on outstanding balances, and maintain positive client relationships
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers, resolve discrepancies, and assist during audits
• Generate periodic financial and AR reports to support credit control and management decisions

Petty Cash Management:

• Maintain, secure, and manage the petty cash fund responsibly
• Record, reconcile, and report all petty cash transactions in line with company policies
• Submit timely reconciliation reports and petty cash replenishment requests

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and financial discipline
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and GAAP standards
• Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and within a team
• Valid UAE driving licence and prior UAE work experience are mandatory
