Assistant Accountant

DK Line Contracting LLC is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join its growing operations team in Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who have accounting experience within the UAE and are looking to build their career in the construction and contracting sector.

The company is looking for a professional who can efficiently manage accounting support functions, maintain financial accuracy, and assist with invoicing, reconciliations, and VAT-related processes. Candidates with strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be highly valued.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with daily accounting and financial operations

• Preparing invoices, maintaining records, and supporting reconciliation activities

• Handling accounting documentation and ensuring proper financial reporting accuracy

• Supporting accounts payable and receivable processes

• Assisting with UAE VAT-related procedures and compliance requirements

• Maintaining organized financial files and transaction records

• Coordinating with internal teams regarding financial and project-related documentation

• Supporting reporting and data management using accounting software and MS Excel

Requirements for the role:

• Minimum 1 year of UAE accounting experience

• Previous experience within the construction or contracting industry is preferred

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, invoicing, and reconciliations

• Familiarity with UAE VAT procedures and related accounting processes

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software systems

• Knowledge of Quantity Surveying (QS) will be considered an added advantage

• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills
