The Dubai Autism Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive services for individuals with autism and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in administering psychological assessments and collecting clinical data under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
- Support psychologists in providing consultations to families, helping clarify assessment outcomes, and recommending services.
- Facilitate Arabic translation during assessment feedback sessions and ensure clear communication of reports and guidance to caregivers.
- Observe and document clinical notes, progress updates, and behavioral observations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and training opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to awareness initiatives and support parent and staff training activities related to ASD and mental well-being.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Child Psychology, or Applied Psychology.
- Licensed or eligible for licensing with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
- Prior experience working with children with autism or developmental disorders is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- UAE nationality is a requirement.
