Description:
Assistant Quality Engineer required
Location: Abu Dhabi
Purpose/Summary:
Inspect fabricated components and prepare inspection reports.
Qualification, Experience, Skills & Knowledge Required
- CERTIFICATION: CSWIP 3.1, NDT Level -II (RT, PT, UT, MPI, VT) is a must. NACE or BGAS certification will be an added advantage.
- EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 years of quality control inspection of steel Fabrication for equipment & Structure related to Oil & gas, Petrochemical & Power Generation
Specific Knowledge/Skills/Competences:
Technical & Mechanical:
- Good knowledge of fabrication, welding & painting.
- Knowledge of raw materials, quality control.
- Ability to interpret Fabrication drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic Industrial Safety Awareness
- UAE Driving license.
Principal Accountabilities – Key Responsibilities
- Inspect fabricated components.
- Prepare inspection reports.
- Check material test certificates and inspection reports from suppliers, subcontractors etc.
- Assist in preparation for client audits and third-party inspections.
- Any other task assigned.
- Comply with all processes and procedures (HR, Quality, HSE, Finance, IT, Procurement, Operations) which include compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the local labor law.
- Employee shall comply with requirements listed in Company’s QHSE Management System.
