An experienced Assistant Resident Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation) is required for a major water infrastructure project in Al Ain, UAE. This role is suited for highly skilled engineering professionals with extensive experience in large-scale utility and infrastructure developments.

The selected candidate will support project supervision activities, ensure compliance with technical specifications, and oversee electrical and instrumentation works across critical water infrastructure systems such as reservoirs and pumping stations. The role demands strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and hands-on experience in complex engineering environments.

This opportunity is ideal for senior professionals who have worked on UAE-based infrastructure projects and are familiar with local authority standards and approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in supervising electrical and instrumentation works on-site

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards

• Review contractor submissions, drawings, and technical documentation

• Monitor progress of water infrastructure components including pumping stations and reservoirs

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders

• Conduct site inspections and prepare technical reports

• Support project management in resolving technical issues

• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout execution

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering

• 10–12+ years of relevant professional experience

• Strong background in water infrastructure, reservoirs, pumping stations, or utility projects

• TAQA approval is preferred

• UAE project experience is highly desirable
