Assistant To Media Director

 

Description:

Immediate start. Part-time role up to 5 hours per day. Monday through Friday. Must be a Dubai resident living in Dubai. Must have her/his own visa, transportation, and computer.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a database system

Research guests for podcasts and prepare background report

Assist with business development and potential sponsorship

Maintain accurate contacts database

Act as the point of contact for suppliers or potential guests

Liaise with senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from managers

Make and arrange phone/zoom calls

Organize and schedule appointments

Plan meetings and take detailed minutes

Write and distribute email, letters, and forms

Assist in the preparation of analysis reports

Requirements and skills

Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Virtual Assistant or Office Admin Assistant

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

Journalism background or copywriting experience will be a plus

Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Strong organizational and leadership skills

High School degree. Additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be admirable
