You will succeed by consistently securing new sales, developing strong client partnerships, and building a portfolio of repeat customers across domestic and international markets. Your success will directly contribute to Simplex Innovation’s growth as a trusted global distributor of cutting-edge technology.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential customers in designated markets, including universities, laboratories, government agencies, and private companies
- Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers through calls, meetings, events, and follow-up communication
- Present and explain technical product benefits in a clear, persuasive manner tailored to the customer’s needs
- Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring contracts and orders are completed accurately
- Oversee post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction, including coordinating installations and training where needed
- Identify opportunities for repeat business, upselling, and cross-selling additional products or services
- Meet or exceed annual sales targets across domestic and international markets
- Represent Simplex Innovation at industry events, exhibitions, and procurement processes (nationally and international travel may be required, expenses covered)
Qualifications
Essential
- Proven B2B sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Experience in high-value product sales, ideally in technology, scientific equipment, or industrial sectors
- Ability to manage the full sales cycle independently while meeting all contracting responsibilities
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work both independently and within a team
- Comfortable working with clients from different cultures and geographical markets
Desirable
- Understanding of the skills and attributes in delivering consultative sales
- Science or technical background (e.g., laboratory, research, engineering, or technical sales experience)
- Multilingual skills relevant to target markets
- Experience in relationship management to drive repeat business
