We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV/IT Technical Manager to join our dynamic technical team for Dubai Watch Week 2023. This freelance position will be from 1st September to 30th November, with 5 days of remote or ad hoc consultancy starting from 1st August. Key Responsibilities:

As the AV/IT Technical Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless data and video transmission to luxury brand pavilions through dedicated fixed IP internet distribution. Your expertise in AV over IP systems will facilitate site-wide content distribution and video capture, enhancing the overall event experience. You will be responsible for managing the strategic technical planning, scheduling, and vendor coordination to ensure flawless execution of AV-related aspects. Additionally, you'll be involved in managing live event streaming to online platforms like YouTube and Facebook.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in data and video transmission methods, video compression, and live event streaming. Strong proficiency in strategic technical planning, scheduling, and vendor management is essential. Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Sketchup is a must. You should be a team player with excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with multiple interdepartmental stakeholders effectively.
