Description:
My client a leading investment management company is in search for an Azure Cloud Specialist from a Database Administrator background.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing and optimizing database services within Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in addition to general cloud services knowledge.
- Design, build and operation of well-defined services that transform their technologies into standard infrastructure building blocks for consumption.
- Provide technical leadership at all stages and iterations of solution delivery and operational support; from advising service on fit-for-purpose solution options through to maintenance of production environments.
- Demonstrating leadership in technical knowledge and ability to deliver core service offerings.
- Management and support of the supported toolsets and supporting with advice and guidance.
- Using knowledge of the supporting technologies to optimise the products and services supported and improvements to the consistency and stability of the environment and to the effectiveness and efficiency of the team.
You will require:
- Technically proficient Azure and OCI
- Expertise in cloud database technologies and your ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex database solutions to ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of cloud-based database systems.
