Azure Iac Engineer

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Azure IaC Engineer to support and enhance our cloud infrastructure through well-architected, automated solutions. This role will be instrumental in reviewing and improving existing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts, building new scripts to support GenAI use cases, and ensuring the stability and performance of Azure services. The candidate will work closely with client teams, troubleshoot deployments, and contribute to scalable and efficient cloud automation.

Key Responsibilities:
IaC Engineering & Automation:
Analyze and understand existing IaC Terraform scripts and patterns.
Recommend enhancements based on industry best practices and Azure expertise.
Build and maintain new Terraform scripts to support GenAI use cases (up to 2 services/month).
Prioritize deployment and issue resolution over new script development, when needed.
Deploy and troubleshoot Azure resources using Terraform.
Ensure clean, reusable, and secure IaC standards are followed.
Azure Cloud Engineering:
Provide day-to-day support for deployed Azure services.
Liaise with application build teams and stakeholders to gather requirements or address issues.
Debug cloud service issues and recommend configuration adjustments for inclusion in IaC.
Monitor and improve performance, cost, and security posture of cloud services.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure cloud services and architecture.
Solid troubleshooting skills related to cloud deployments and networking.
Familiarity with GenAI infrastructure requirements (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience in CI/CD and automation pipelines is a plus.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:
Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400).
Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Prior involvement in AI/ML or GenAI projects.
