We are currently seeking an outstanding Babies Class Teacher to join our growing family for an immediate start.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualifications
- CACHE Level 3, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development for children aged 0–2 years.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with babies in a nursery or early years setting.
- Experience in planning and delivering age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Experience building strong partnerships with parents and promoting children's wellbeing.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports the development of babies aged 0–2 years.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework and each child's developmental stage.
- Support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through responsive caregiving and play-based learning.
- Observe, assess, and maintain accurate records of children's learning and development.
- Build positive relationships with parents by providing regular updates on children's progress and wellbeing.
- Ensure high standards of health, hygiene, safeguarding, and safety are maintained at all times.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality care and education.
- Foster secure attachments and promote children's confidence, independence, and wellbeing.
- Demonstrate professionalism, creativity, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Contribute positively to the nursery's vision, values, and overall learning environment.
