Barista

Description:

We are assisting our client a leading Recreation Club in hiring Barista's. The ideal candidate should be well versed with previous experience having worked as a Barista or in a customer service role preferably.

Be willing to work in shifts.

Responsibilities:

· Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.

· Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas,

and specialty beverages.

· Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and another café equipment safely and efficiently.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including tables, counters, and equipment.

· Serve orders promptly and ensure all dishes/beverages meet quality standards.

· Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and pastries as needed.

· Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure food and beverage quality.

· Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving complaints

promptly and professionally.

· Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role preferred.

· Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso equipment is an asset.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

· Reliable, punctual, energetic, proactive, bubbly and team oriented.

· Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

· Ability to stand for extended periods.
