About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Blockchain Software Developer to join a fast-moving team in Dubai. In this role you will design, build and deploy secure smart contracts and blockchain-backed applications, primarily within Ethereum and other EVM-compatible ecosystems. You will collaborate with backend and frontend engineers to deliver production-ready decentralized systems that are gas-efficient, auditable, and secure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deploy smart contracts, mainly using Solidity, following best practices for maintainability and security.
- Integrate blockchain components with backend services and frontend applications to create end-to-end product flows.
- Participate in architecture and security reviews for decentralized applications and smart-contract systems.
- Optimize contracts and transactions for gas efficiency and overall performance.
- Research and apply emerging blockchain and DeFi technologies, keeping solutions current with industry developments.
Requirements:
- Proven development experience on Ethereum or EVM-compatible blockchains.
- Strong proficiency in Solidity and familiarity with development frameworks such as Hardhat, Truffle, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of token and asset standards like ERC-20, ERC-721 and ERC-1155.
- Comfortable working with distributed teams and standard collaboration tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines).
- Solid knowledge of smart contract security practices and performance optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to reason about complex, distributed systems.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Layer 2 solutions (Arbitrum, Optimism) or ZK technologies.
- Familiarity with Rust, Solana, or Cosmos SDK and cross-chain bridge patterns.
- Contributions to open-source Web3 projects or public repositories.
- Practical understanding of DeFi protocols, DAOs, or NFT infrastructure.
