Description:
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with stakeholders across business units (underwriting, claims, finance, compliance, IT) to gather and document business requirements related to Open Finance and E-invoicing.Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and digital transformation. Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
· Liaise with development teams, solution architects, and vendors to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
· Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements related to Open Finance (e.g., API frameworks, data sharing protocols) and E-invoicing (e.g., VAT compliance, electronic billing standards).
· Support testing (UAT/SIT), validation, and go-live activities to ensure the quality and accuracy of delivered solutions.
· Act as a bridge between business and technology teams to facilitate smooth communication and alignment.
· Prepare business cases, process flow diagrams, requirement documents (BRDs/FRDs), and other necessary project documentation.
Key Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
· 3–6 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance sector (life/general/health).
· Strong understanding of insurance domain processes – policy lifecycle, claims, underwriting, finance & compliance.
· In-depth knowledge of Open Finance principles, API ecosystems, and regulatory requirements.
· Solid understanding of E-invoicing systems, electronic billing standards, tax/VAT regulations (preferably GCC/UAE)
· Experience with business analysis tools.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Insurance domain certifications.
· Familiarity with regulatory bodies and standards (e.g. CBUAE).
· Prior experience working on financial projects or fintech integrations.
