Business Development Manager

 

Description:

As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving growth. You'll develop and maintain key relationships with targeted accounts, working closely with account managers to ensure year-on-year growth. Your leadership and strategic insights will help shape our business development efforts, contributing to both revenue and gross margin growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy: Develop and execute a strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Research: Identify new markets and understand customer needs.
  • Engagement: Arrange, prepare, and lead business meetings with prospective customers.
  • Promotion: Promote our products and services, addressing and understanding client objectives.
  • Contracts: Prepare sales contracts in line with legal guidelines.
  • Support: Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Building: Foster long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Development: Map out and develop relationships with key decision-makers in targeted accounts.
  • Alignment: Work with the leadership team and other departments to formalize and build customer relationships.

 

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Experience: 5+ years in aviation, working within commercial aviation.

Skills:

  • level of emotional intelligence and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • in presenting, attracting, and obtaining new airline supplier approvals.
  • sales track record and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Suite.
  • to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • negotiating skills and proven account management experience.
