Description:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with clients and developers to drive growth in the Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) business. The role focuses on expanding market presence, influencing project decisions, and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships to grow revenue and market share.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the MEP sector across the UAE.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
· Position the company’s MEP solutions during pre-tender and design stages to influence project decisions.
· Secure specifications and contracts for targeted projects to achieve business growth.
· Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, projects, and finance) to develop tailored proposals and competitive bids
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects to identify opportunities.
· Represent the company at industry exhibitions, networking events, and client meetings.
· Ensure seamless handover of secured projects to execution teams and maintain client satisfaction.
· Maintain accurate and updated records of sales activities, pipeline, and market intelligence.
· Contribute to the company’s brand positioning as a trusted partner in MEP solutions.
· Revenue Growth: Achievement of assigned sales and revenue targets in the MEP business.
· New Client Acquisition: Number and value of new MEP accounts and contracts secured.
· Specification Wins: Projects where company MEP solutions are specified and awarded.
· Pipeline Growth: Expansion and conversion rate of MEP project opportunities.
· Client Engagement: Regular and effective interactions with developers, contractors, and consultants.
· Market Share Expansion: Increased presence and penetration in the MEP sector.
· Customer Retention: Renewal and repeat business from existing MEP clients.
· Reporting & Compliance: Timely updates of sales forecasts, client activities, and project pipelines.
