Business Development Manager

A rapidly growing engineering and process systems company headquartered in Dubai is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support its global growth strategy across the energy, oil & gas, water, and industrial process sectors. Scope of the Role

Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, expanding market presence, building strategic alliances, and developing a strong pipeline of projects across international markets. The role combines technical commercial expertise, market intelligence, key account management, and strategic business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business development activities across oil & gas, water treatment, energy, and process industries.
• Develop and maintain relationships with major operators, EPC contractors, and industry stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue tender opportunities and lead client engagement activities.
• Build and manage international agency and representative networks to increase market penetration.
• Establish strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and technology alliances to strengthen market positioning.
• Collaborate with engineering and proposal teams to develop competitive commercial strategies and winning proposals.
• Lead commercial negotiations and support contract award processes.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging project opportunities across target regions.

We are looking for a commercially driven professional who combines strong business development capability with a solid technical understanding of engineered process systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8-12 years of experience in business development, technical sales, proposals, or account management within process packages, modular skids, EPC projects, or related energy sectors.
• Strong understanding of process systems within oil & gas, water treatment, power, and energy industries.
• Proven track record of winning major projects and managing complex sales cycles.
• Experience developing international markets and managing channel partners or sales representatives.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across regional and international markets.
