Business Development Officer

 

Description:

Role Overview: A Business Development Officer, is responsible for overseeing the implementation of business development strategies to heighten company profitability. Their duties include leading a team of business development and sales professionals, identifying business opportunities to pursue and creating business proposals to support their ideas.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets in the Middle East region.

- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities with key clients. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to maximize business potential.

- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, market demands, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies.

- Sales and Revenue Generation: Drive sales activities, including lead generation, proposal development, and contract negotiations to achieve revenue goals.

- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including recruitment, marketing, and consulting, to ensure alignment and deliver exceptional client service.

- Reporting and Forecasting: Monitor and report on business development performance, including sales forecasts, pipeline management, and key metrics. Provide regular updates to senior management on progress and strategic recommendations.

- Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance visibility and establish thought leadership in the staffing and consulting sectors.

 

Qualifications:

 

- Experience: 2 years of proven experience in business development within the finance service industry

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

- Strong understanding of the service industry

- Proven ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Network: Established network of industry contacts and decision-makers in the Middle East region.

- Language: Fluency in English (Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is a plus).
