A leading Abu Dhabi government entity is seeking a Senior Specialist to act as the strategic link between technology and business sectors, driving innovation and ensuring technology investments deliver tangible value.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with experience in building business cases, managing stakeholder relationships, and aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals.
UAE Nationals are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary strategic liaison between business units (e.g., HR, Finance, Operations) and the Technology Department.
- Propose and develop business cases for technology initiatives, including ROI analysis, budgeting, and measurable impact assessment.
- Evaluate and prioritize technology requests to ensure alignment with broader strategic objectives.
- Support technology budget planning, monitoring, and reporting for assigned business units or projects.
- Facilitate the adoption of new technologies through effective change management and stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies (e.g., AI, Cloud) to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 3-5+ years of experience in IT business partnering, business analysis, or digital transformation.
- Proven experience developing business cases, calculating ROI, and managing technology budgets.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Certification such as CBAP or PMP is a plus.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
