Description:
We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to join a dynamic finance team in the UAE. The successful candidate will take responsibility for accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and providing insightful financial analysis. This role requires practical UAE/GCC experience and a strong understanding of IFRS and regional tax regimes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and ensure accuracy of financial statements in line with IFRS.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely reconciliations.
- Manage UAE VAT compliance and filings; support VAT-related queries and audits.
- Assist with Saudi taxation matters including Zakat, VAT and Withholding Tax (WHT) compliance.
- Work with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, QuickBooks) to maintain transactional integrity and reporting.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide documentation and explanations during audits.
- Deliver financial analysis and management reports to support business decision-making.
- Support process improvements and ensure adherence to internal controls and corporate policies.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant qualification (CA / ACCA / CPA) or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience with mandatory UAE/GCC exposure.
- Strong command of IFRS, UAE VAT rules and general compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with Saudi tax landscape (Zakat, VAT, WHT) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in major accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally or QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail and effective communication skills.
