Our Culinary team is expanding and looking for knowledgeable, passionate, energetic, and creative DCDP - pastry to join us.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure Culinary Standards and Responsibilities are met for Pastry Team
- Develop, design, and create new ideas and items for Pastry Kitchen
- Recognize superior quality products, presentations, and flavor
- Assist the Pastry Chef with menu development associated with Pastry
- Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
- Assist in determining how food should be presented and creates appropriate decorative food displays
- In addition to this are the maintenance and safety aspects of the role, including cleaning and disinfecting premises, equipment, and materials, and verifying the correct operation of equipment and safety devices
- Quality control is also part of the role, requiring the colleague to check the conformity of raw materials and products throughout the manufacturing process, as well as weights and quantities, and the appearance of finished products
We are looking exactly for you:
- Applicants must have at least 2 - 3 years experience & proven expertise in a 5* Luxury Hotels
- Good knowledge and understanding of high-volume kitchen operation
- Be a good team player with a positive attitude
- Good English communication skills
- Be familiar with the use of commercial mixing machines, ovens, and other large-scale baking equipment
- Ability to work with creativity, passion, and drive
- High level of time management and attention to detail
