We’re Hiring: Chief Accountant – F&B Industry 🍽️

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a prominent and fast-growing restaurant chain, for the position of Chief Accountant.

This role requires not only strong technical accounting skills but also hands-on experience in the food and beverage industry.

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related field

In-depth knowledge of IFRS and UAE accounting standards

Minimum 2 years of solid experience in the F&B industry

Proficiency in Odoo accounting system

🧾 Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire accounting cycle, from journal entries to finalization of financial statements

• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing for all outlets and the head office
• Handle cost accounting, including inventory, recipe costing, and waste tracking
• Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and payment cycles
• Ensure compliance with VAT and coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies
• Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts
• Generate management reports to support operational and strategic decision-making
• Coordinate with procurement and operations teams for accurate expense recognition
• Ensure proper controls over petty cash, supplier payments, and sales reporting
• Location: Al Qouz, Dubai, UAE
