Chief Accountant

Description:

Katrina Group is urgently seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to join its team in Jebel Ali, Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional with extensive experience in General Trading and FMCG Manufacturing who can effectively manage financial operations while ensuring compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations.

The successful candidate will oversee core accounting functions, including cost accounting, inventory management, financial reporting, budgeting, and VAT compliance. Candidates with strong analytical abilities, ERP system experience, and a commitment to financial accuracy are encouraged to apply. Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and oversee the general ledger.

• Prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and management reports.

• Handle cost accounting processes and monitor inventory accounting.

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards. 

Arabs& Middle Easterners

• Develop budgets, perform financial analysis, and support business planning.

• Maintain financial controls and improve accounting procedures.

• Utilize ERP systems to streamline accounting and reporting processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or an equivalent certification is an advantage.

• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably within General Trading and FMCG Manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards and tax regulations.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
