Chief Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Manage financial records, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.

• Support budgeting, taxation, and financial planning processes.

• Monitor accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial documentation.

• Utilize accounting systems and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

• Collaborate with internal departments to support efficient financial operations.

• Lead and supervise accounting activities (Chief Accountant role).

Requirements:

• Proven accounting experience within the construction or contracting industry.

• Previous experience leading an accounting team is required for the Chief Accountant position.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and accounting standards.

• Experience with account reconciliations and month-end closing processes.

• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
