Civil Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with specialized certification from Dubai Municipality to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, and hands-on experience in overseeing construction projects in compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

·        Manage and oversee construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

·        Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for construction projects.

·        Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure adherence to approved plans, quality standards, and safety regulations set by Dubai Municipality.

·        Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve design and construction challenges while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

·        Provide technical expertise and guidance in interpreting Municipality codes and regulations for project teams.

·        Review and approve project documents, including permits, licenses, and compliance certificates required.

·        Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective solutions to ensure timely completion within budgetary constraints.

·        Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure structural integrity and safety of buildings and infrastructure.

·        Prepare and submit comprehensive reports, progress updates, and documentation as required.

·        Stay updated with the latest developments, amendments, and revisions in Dubai Municipality regulations and implement necessary changes in project designs and execution.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

·        Certified by Dubai Municipality as a Civil Engineer.

·        A minimum of 2  years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on construction projects in Dubai.

·        Proficiency in relevant software for design and analysis (AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, etc.).

·        Strong understanding of Dubai Municipality regulations, codes, and standards.

·        Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.

·        Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
