Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Oversee and manage civil engineering projects from initiation to completion.
- Ensure projects are executed within budget and on schedule.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Site Supervision:
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and quality.
- Provide technical guidance to on-site teams and resolve engineering issues promptly.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols on construction sites.
Design and Analysis:
- Review and approve civil engineering designs.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with design teams to optimize project plans.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
- Implement quality control measures to guarantee the durability and safety of structures.
Contract Management:
- Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor contractual obligations and address any deviations or disputes.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation.
- Prepare regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site management.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing and supervising construction projects in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of local construction regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools.
