Civil Procurement Engineer

Gulf Contractors Company (GCC) is looking for a skilled Civil Procurement Engineer to join their Abu Dhabi head office. The role focuses on procurement of long-lead civil items, issuing LPOs, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely material delivery in compliance with project costs and company policies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with UAE infrastructure projects and a strong understanding of procurement procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Send inquiries to potential suppliers and collect quotations based on project specifications.
• Conduct technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Prepare comparison sheets and present to the procurement committee for approval to select the most suitable supplier.
• Issue confirmation letters and LPOs to selected suppliers, enabling them to submit materials for project and consultant approval.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding material submittals and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain records of procurement activities and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
