Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer (Civil) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 10 years of experience in supervising and managing various civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to Authority Regulations, project specifications, quality control, and on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all aspects of civil engineering works on-site
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and design
- Monitor construction progress and identify potential risks or delays
- Implement quality control measures and ensure work meets required standards
- Prepare and submit reports on project progress and safety
- Liaise with other disciplines like architects, MEP engineers, and stakeholders
- Participate in site meetings and presentations
- Ensure site safety and adherence to health and environmental regulations
- Provide technical support to clients and other team members
- Manage a team of engineers and construction staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
- Minimum of 10 years experience in site supervision and management of civil engineering projects
- Experience in working with different types of construction projects including public buildings or education buildings.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions independently
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus
