TWIG is a personal finance management application that empowers individuals to be in control of their financial decisions; promoting healthy habits that contribute to financial wellbeing.
We are looking for a dynamic, proficient and experienced content writer to help us populate our Financial Education website and social media with well-researched articles, blogs and stories.
Responsibilities
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
- Write, proofread and edit blog posts
- Submit work to editors for input and approval
- Collaborate with the marketing team and write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics (we will provide personas that will help in the research of content that is specifically tailored)
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
Qualifications
- Exceptional writing and editing skills in English
- Previous experience in writing in the financial education space
- Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
- Ability to write creatively in a user-friendly, young, dynamic, and exciting tone of voice
- Please share a portfolio or link to your previous work as a content writer in the financial education space
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in Arabic
- Social media or content marketing experience a plus
- A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
