Responsibilities

• Must have experience handling contracts within the F&B industry.
• Drafting of agreements, opinions, expert opinions, letters etc.
• Provide ongoing legal advice on corporate law issues.
• Conduct meetings and conferences with clients on current or future cases.
• Ensures legality of commercial transactions.
• Conduct research in all aspects of contractual law, tax, law, accounting, securities law, bankruptcy, intellectual property rights, licensing, zoning laws, arbitration, civil laws and other regulations relating to specific areas of business.
• Mentors the junior associates in their daily tasks.
• Discuss strategies and delegate tasks as needed.

Skills

• Thorough procedural and legal knowledge.
• Proven background on corporate law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage case loads.
• Good attention to detail to be able to analyze case files and data
• Excellent time management.
• Must have verbal and written proficiency in both languages (e.g., English & Arabic).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a corporate lawyer.
• Common law qualified lawyer.
