Cost & Procurement Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the team for cost estimation, procurement, and contract management functions for construction and engineering projects.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and perform material take-offs (MTO) to ensure accurate project cost planning.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and implement effective cost control strategies.
• Oversee project budgeting and conduct comprehensive cost analysis to ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficient project execution.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) for cost analysis, reporting, and data management.
• Experience with procurement and project management software is an advantage.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Revit, SketchUp, and AutoCAD is preferred.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in cost estimation, procurement, and contract management in the construction or engineering sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and cost control techniques.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely and efficient project completion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with procurement/project management software.
