Are you a culturally plugged-in wordsmith who lives and breathes social? We Are Social is looking for a Creative Copywriter to craft bold, original, and platform-native copy that brings brand ideas to life.

In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of copy craft and social fluency—writing always-on content, campaigns, and pitch ideas that feel relevant, timely, and creatively ambitious. You'll work closely with designers, strategists, and creatives to shape ideas through language, storytelling, and cultural insight.

If you're obsessed with internet culture, understand how copy behaves differently across platforms, and know how to turn trends into brand-right ideas, this role is for you.

What You'll Do
 

  • Write high-quality, original copy across social captions, scripts, campaign copy, manifestos, and long- and short-form content.
  • Lead copy and editorial thinking across always-on content, campaigns, and pitches, shaping ideas through language and storytelling.
  • Develop and maintain strong, distinctive brand voices and narratives across social and wider brand touchpoints.
  • Apply deep understanding of social platforms, internet culture, creators, and trends to ensure work feels current, relevant, and platform-native.
  • Adapt copy for different platforms and formats including Reels, TikToks, Stories, static, and video while protecting the core creative idea.
  • Translate client objectives into clear editorial direction and copy-led ideas that deliver against brand and business goals.
  • Work closely in a copy-art duo with designers, demonstrating strong visual literacy and collaboration.
  • Present ideas and copy clearly and confidently, and collaborate with Creative, Strategy, Media, and wider teams across multiple brands.
     

Requirements

  • Proven experience writing for social platforms and social-first campaigns.
  • Excellent writing skills across tones, formats, and industries.
  • Deep understanding of platform mechanics, formats, and best practices.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Curiosity for culture, creators, and how people engage with content today.
