Data Engineer

Description:

We’re hiring a results-driven Data Engineer with strong command over Azure Data Factory, SQL, Spark, and Databricks. This role is central to building scalable data solutions that power decision-making across global operations. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, optimize, and maintain high-performance data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Spark, and Databricks
• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT workflows and integrate with cloud-native platforms
• Collaborate with data architects and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Implement data quality, lineage, and monitoring frameworks
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance across environments

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory, SQL (T-SQL), Apache Spark, and Databricks
• Experience with Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, or other cloud data platforms is a plus
• Strong understanding of distributed computing, data modeling, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile delivery practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
