Data Entry Accountant

Description:

A well-established construction-focused organization is seeking a Data Entry Accountant with hands-on UAE construction or contracting experience. This role is best suited for professionals who are detail-oriented, quick with numbers, and comfortable handling high-volume transactional data in a structured, fast-moving environment. Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
• Enter daily accounting transactions accurately and maintain updated Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable records
• Record supplier, subcontractor invoices, and site-related expenses in a timely manner
• Monitor and track costs on a project-by-project basis
• Post journal entries and assist with account reconciliations
• Maintain organized financial documentation, including invoices, vouchers, and receipts
• Ensure accounting practices comply with UAE VAT regulations
• Coordinate closely with site teams and procurement departments for expense verification and documentation

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1–2 years of UAE experience within construction or contracting companies
• Working knowledge of accounting systems such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar platforms
• Strong command of MS Excel for reporting and data handling
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and process discipline
• Must be immediately available to join
