Design Engineer

Description:

A One Switchgear Industries is seeking an experienced Estimation cum Design Engineer to join their team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LV Switchgear Panelboard estimation and design, and be familiar with UAE regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read LV single line diagrams (SLD) and develop full drawings and quotations based on SLDs and load schedules
• Understand the forms of separation for panelboards
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as TAQA, DEWA, and FEWA
• Follow up on FAT/SAT tests in the workshop

Requirements:

• Degree, Diploma, or ITI in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 2–3 years of UAE experience in LV Switchgear Panelboard estimation and design
• Currently based in the UAE
