Designer & Modeler

Description:

First Numismatic Tech Corp, based in Dubai, UAE, is looking for an experienced 3D Designer & Modeler to collaborate with our R&D team on the development of a new generation of premium enclosures, chassis and compact computing solutions.

This is a hands-on product development role focused on taking concepts from functional prototype to refined, manufacturing-ready design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and 3D-model enclosures and chassis across four product lines.

• Optimize designs for engineering-grade 3D printing, machining and assembly.

• Develop material-specific variants using TPU, Nylon PA11/PA12 and carbon-fiber composites.

• Produce manufacturing-ready STL and STEP files.

• Define and document tolerances, fits, fastening systems and assembly requirements.

• Collaborate with the technical team throughout prototype testing, refinement and pilot-production stages.

• Support iterative design improvements based on physical testing and manufacturing feedback.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in 3D product and mechanical design.

• Strong proficiency in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender or equivalent professional tools.

• Practical knowledge of engineering materials including TPU, Nylon PA11/PA12 and carbon-fiber composites.

• Experience with FDM, SLS and/or MJF additive manufacturing technologies.

• Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), tolerances, mechanical fits and post-processing.

• Ability to produce accurate manufacturing-ready technical files.

• Portfolio demonstrating real-world experience designing hardware enclosures, chassis, housings, racks or comparable physical products.
