Desktop Support Engineer

 

Description:

- Delivers end-to-end support to IT users on enterprise software, systems and hardware related issues, in accordance with business needs and agreed IT service levels.

- Acts as a proactive business partner to company IT users to make recommendations and drive productivity through the intelligent use of technology.

- Solve the IT issues .

- Ensures all user-related IT support information and tickets are accurately entered and maintained in our IT ServiceDesk system, to ensure quality data collection on incidents, requests, changes, assets and related SLA performance.

- Takes personal ownership of testing and supporting the implementation of new solutions that drive business productivity.

Skills :

1- Knowledge on LAN, WAN and WLAN technologies.

2- Configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN/Wireless LAN equipment and related services.

3- install and configure the entire Active network, Wireless and Wired Network Infrastructure of the project.

4- Troubleshooting and problem solving of structured cabling systems

5- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

6- The ability to communicate technical information to non-IT clients and colleagues

7- A logical approach to problem solving and analyzing

8- Good organizational skills to prioritize workloads.

9- Install, modify, upgrade, and repair computer hardware and software, as well as computer peripherals.

10- Research and identify solutions to software, hardware, systems, networks, printers, and scanners issues.

11- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.

12- PC skills (Word, Excel, etc)

 

Responsibilities:

1- Provide technical support to our clients across the Dubai, UAE as part of the IT support team.

2- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks

3- This position will involve providing on-site or remotely support for desktop and Windows machines, including OS reinstallation and the setup of new user machine

4- Manage client requirements and propose new technology to improve their environment.

5- Keep the IT Helpdesk system records accurate and up to date.

6- Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits.

7- Provide technical support on-site or via remote-access systems
