Digital Media Specialist

Description:

The Digital Media Specialist strategically promotes the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research to the local, regional, and broader international communities. The position is responsible for developing public relations and marketing content for print and online platforms and increasing the Foundation’s online presence and engagement through social media channels. The Specialist also helps to build and maintain relationships with the Foundation’s various partners and diverse stakeholder groups. The Specialist reports to the Communications Manager and is part of the Arts & Community Engagement team. This position works closely with other Foundation departments in order to develop and communicate targeted messaging capable of reaching a variety of audiences.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in digital media, public relation, and communications or a related field
• Advanced communication and relationship management skills
• Advanced in social media skills
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Strong mastery of the English language with evidence of solid writing and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds
• Previous relevant work experience preferred
• Knowledge and experience in the Gulf region preferred
