Description:
The Director of Operations will act as the operational right hand to the Director of Spa, ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient back-of-house management. This role requires a leader with proven experience in luxury hospitality or wellness, capable of aligning teams, systems, and standards to uphold Sacra’s brand vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day spa, wellness, and F&B operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Support the Director of Spa in strategic planning, KPI tracking, and execution of operational goals.
- Lead and mentor departmental managers (Front Office, Housekeeping, Culinary, Guest Services, etc.), ensuring consistent standards across all areas.
- Monitor P&L performance, COGS, payroll, and operational budgets to achieve financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai regulations (DHA, municipality, labor law, etc.) and internal SOPs.
- Implement and monitor service excellence, guest safety, and hygiene protocols across all spa zones and suites.
- Drive team recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives to build a high-performing culture.
- Act as a visible presence on the floor, maintaining guest relationships and quickly resolving any operational challenges.
- Collaborate with the Culinary team to align F&B offerings with the overall spa experience.
- Provide operational reports and recommendations directly to the Director of Spa.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Spa, or Wellness (preferred but not mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years’ leadership experience in a luxury spa, wellness, or fitness environment.
- Strong understanding of luxury guest service standards and operational excellence.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Proven track record of managing large teams in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on leadership style.
