Description:
Unicorn Electrical Works is currently hiring a Document Controller to join its growing team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for candidates who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing large volumes of project documentation in a structured and efficient manner.
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining project records, ensuring proper document control procedures, and facilitating smooth communication between engineering teams, consultants, and clients. The role plays a key part in ensuring that all project documentation is accurate, updated, and properly distributed across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and organize project documents, drawings, and correspondence in a structured filing system
• Control document revisions and ensure the latest approved versions are distributed to relevant teams
• Prepare, track, and maintain records of submissions, transmittals, RFIs, and project documentation
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, clients, and project teams for document flow and approvals
• Maintain both electronic and hard-copy records with accuracy and confidentiality
• Ensure quick retrieval and proper storage of all project-related documents
• Support administrative and documentation processes as required
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field
• 1–2 years of experience in document control (freshers are also encouraged to apply)
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with document management systems and electronic filing procedures
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
