- Strategize, design and develop backend and CMS platform architectures and manage all technical aspects of such platforms.
- Develop custom modules, features and functionalities in Drupal.
- Manage complex third-party integrations.
- Provide on-going technical support and maintenance of developed websites and platforms conforming to established SLAs.
- Operate as part of the Scrum team and work on pathing-out quality websites.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 6+ years of Drupal development experience on versions 7 to 10, including custom module development, core API and implementations within a LAMP environment.
- Proficient in custom module development, key contributed modules, core APIs and implementations within a LAMP environment.
- Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile.
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
- Experience integrating open source and third-party applications into existing systems.
- Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
- Familiarity with source control systems.
- Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data, display and information architecture.
- Advanced site-building experience including deep familiarity with Drupal modules.
- Knowledge of PHP files and theme functions and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer.
