Electrical Engineer

Description:

Greenland Company L.L.C is looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team in Dubai. The role involves designing, supervising, and managing electrical systems within construction and MEP projects, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with UAE regulations. The candidate will play a key role in project delivery, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining high standards of quality throughout installation and commissioning.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical design, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with construction and MEP project execution. They will be responsible for preparing technical documentation, supervising electrical installations, and ensuring smooth coordination across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems including load calculations, cable sizing, and power distribution

• Prepare electrical drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and technical documentation

• Supervise electrical installation activities to ensure compliance with designs

• Coordinate with MEP teams and resolve technical design issues

• Manage testing, commissioning, and quality control of electrical systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 6 years of experience in construction or MEP projects

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software such as Dialux, ETAP, or Revit MEP

• Strong knowledge of UAE regulations and DEWA standards

• Excellent coordination, communication, and technical problem-solving skills
