Description:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Site Engineer to manage and execute site operations for energy and power projects. The ideal candidate will ensure project delivery, safety compliance, and client satisfaction while leveraging technical expertise in high voltage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee site operations from project initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and KPIs.
- Conduct site studies to assess power needs and functional requirements.
- Ensure electrical designs meet safety, regulatory, and health standards.
- Perform and supervise high voltage cable (11kV–400kV) and GIS testing (up to 520kV) per IEC standards.
- Conduct partial discharge measurements with various equipment.
- Manage cable design and installation for systems up to 400kV.
- Resolve technical issues and provide expert advice to stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports and maintain client communication.
- Analyze data to optimize project performance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Proven UAE site experience in electrical engineering projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in high voltage cable and GIS testing protocols (IEC standards).
- Strong knowledge of electrical generation and transmission systems.
- Familiarity with partial discharge measurements using various equipment (preferred).
- Experience in cable design and installation (11kV–400kV).
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of electrical safety regulations and building codes.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Languages: Fluent in English; Hindi and Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Licenses: UAE driving license is an advantage but not mandatory
