Electrical Technician

A well-established organization in the power sector is currently seeking experienced Electrical Technicians to join its operations in Umm Al Naar, Abu Dhabi. The role involves handling a variety of electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting smooth plant operations. Candidates must be comfortable working in flexible shifts, including day and night rotations, with overtime opportunities available.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in handling electrical systems and equipment, along with the ability to work independently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Job Details:
• Duty Hours: 8 hours per day with overtime opportunities

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of electrical equipment such as motors, generators, transformers, and switchgear
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot electrical systems effectively
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and schematics
• Work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols

Requirements:
• 3-year Industrial Diploma in Electrical or related field
• Minimum 5 years of industrial experience
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in power or desalination plants
• Strong understanding of maintenance practices and electrical systems
• Ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment
