Description:
We’re looking for a motivated Energy Engineer to drive energy efficiency and retrofit projects across major developments in the UAE. You will play a key role in both project development (pre-sales) and project execution (post-sales), helping clients optimize their HVAC and building systems for peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys, system assessments, and support energy audits.
- Analyze HVAC performance, BMS data, and utility trends to identify inefficiencies.
- Develop technical proposals, energy-saving solutions, and retrofit strategies.
- Support implementation of retrofit projects, including site supervision and commissioning.
- Review and optimize BMS controls and HVAC system performance.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance on system optimization and energy conservation measures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or Building Services Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in HVAC systems, BMS/controls, or building services projects
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies
- Knowledge of BMS systems and building automation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic engineering tools (AutoCAD preferred)
Preferred Background:
- Experience with BMS/System Integration or HVAC controls & automation companies.
- Strong HVAC controls and automation knowledge; limited energy engineering experience is acceptable with training support.
Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies.
- Familiarity with BMS, building automation, and system performance analysis.
- Knowledge of energy audits, ECMs, and retrofit strategies is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; AutoCAD preferred.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication with clients and technical teams.
- Able to manage multiple tasks across office and site environments.
