Hiring Estimation Engineer – Manufacturing
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/ BE in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5- 10yearsof costing and estimation experience in relevant production in Oil and Gas industry knowledge.
- Must have experience of
- Must have strong leadership and technical management skills to include employee relations and team building.
- Must have previous experience in an engineering manufacturing environment.
- Must have adequate knowledge in estimation/manufacturing/machine shop/welding processes/repair/re-manufacturing operations/API Monogram.
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills in English in reading, writing, and verbally.
- Must have good Microsoft Office skills / Oracle System
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and process all customer enquires received.
- Review materials, procedures, and specifications supplied by the customer
- Produce detailed workings with a breakdown of estimated process man hours required.
- Liaise with production to determine available capacity to offer accurate delivery timescales
- Coordinate with sales regarding target or market pricing against estimation
- Generate weekly and monthly reports for management
- Promote safe HSE culture in the workforce.
- Perform OH&S Hazard Identification & Risk assessment & Environmental Aspect & Impact study to improve the HSE in their areas of Functions
- Report the timely reporting & investigation of Incidents, Near Misses & Fatal injuries
