Estimation Engineer

 

Description:

*Strong knowledge of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems:*

 

1. CCTV Surveillance Systems

2. Access Control & Time Attendance Systems

3. Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber)

4. Gate Barriers, Turnstiles, Intercoms

5. PA/BGM Systems

6. SMATV / IPTV Systems

 

*Hands-on experience in:*

 

1. Preparing BOQ, BOM, System Design & Drawings

2. Reading project specifications, IFC drawings & shop drawings

3. Network concepts: VLAN, IP addressing, Switching fundamentals

4. Understanding of integration between ELV systems.

 

*Software & Tools Skills*

 

1. AutoCAD (Basic)

2. MS Office (Excel, Word)

 

*Presales & Commercial Skills*

 

1. Ability to prepare accurate technical proposals and quotations.

2. Good knowledge of market pricing, supplier coordination & material sourcing.

 

*Soft Skills*

 

1. Excellent communication & customer-handling skills.

2. Coordination with sales, project, and technical teams.

3. Time management & multitasking ability.

 

*Experience Requirements*

 

1. 2–5 years of experience in ELV / Low Current Systems (for mid-level roles)

2. Experience in UAE (Added Advantage)

3. Knowledge of local authorities' standards (Dubai Civil Defense, SIRA, etc.) is an added advantage.
