Estimation Engineer

Description:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team and support tendering and bid preparation for MEP and Facilities Management projects. The successful candidate will have solid UAE experience, sound technical knowledge of MEP/FM scopes, and the ability to produce accurate, market-aligned cost estimates.

Position Overview:
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates covering materials, labour, plant and equipment for MEP and FM projects.
• Review and interpret tender documents, drawings and technical specifications to define scope and assumptions.
• Coordinate with procurement and operations to confirm pricing, resource availability and lead times.
• Conduct site visits and technical assessments as needed to validate quantities and conditions.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers; clarify technical queries.
• Compile BOQs and estimation reports to support bid submissions and commercial decisions.
• Maintain and update estimation databases, cost benchmarks and historical rate libraries.

Candidate Profile:
• Minimum 5–8 years’ UAE-based estimation experience in the MEP/FM sector.
• Strong knowledge of local market rates, supplier networks and project delivery practices.
• Proficient in estimation software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking, organisation and written/verbal communication.
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary: AED 8,000 per month (All-Inclusive)
